"Not worth the price in my opinion"
I gave it a try, but it felt too expensive for what you actually get. It wasn’t terrible, but the cost just didn’t feel justified to me. For the price, I’d say this one is avoidable.

"Setting it up was okay, but wow..."
Setting it up was okay, but wow, it definitely took me a minute to figure things out. I was sitting there acting like I’d been handed some ancient puzzle box, but eventually I got it working.

"Caregiver alerts just don’t work well"
I bought this mainly for the caregiver notifications, the alerts are just not reliable. Sometimes they come in really late, and sometimes they don’t show up at all. That kind of defeats the whole purpose for us and, yeah, it makes me nervous. I reached out to support, but they weren’t much help either. For what we needed it for, it just wasn’t worth it.

"Setting my schedule is weirdly hard"
I don’t know, trying to set my times in this thing has been kind of a mess. It keeps not letting me do it how I want, like it’s arguing with me or something. Very frustrating for what should be simple.

"Voice prompts could definitely be clearer"
I really wanted to like this, and it does technically work, but the voice prompts threw me off a bit. Some of the words sounded muffled, so I had to replay them a few times just to figure out what was being said. Then again, maybe my ears were just having a bad day—nope, actually, it’s the audio. It just isn’t as smooth or clear as I expected, and I think it could use some improvement

"Onboarding was kind of confusing"
I had a rough time getting started, the signup guide wasn’t very clear and I ended up feeling a bit lost. Support did help eventually, but it took longer than I expected. I got through it in the end, just wasn’t the best first impression.

"Useful reminders, but setting it up was a hassle"
The reminders have been genuinely helpful for my mom’s memory, which I appreciate. But getting everything set up took more effort than I expected, and she got confused a few times along the way. Support was okay, but I wish the whole process had been a bit easier

I had a rough time trying to use the website. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places, but the menus felt confusing and I kept ending up back where I started while trying to find basic info. Checkout wasn’t super clear to me either, and I had to pause a few times to figure out what was going on. I’m sure it might make sense to other people, but for me it was kind of annoying...

I reached out to customer support sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and it took days to hear anything back. When they finally replied, it barely answered my question, so I had to send a couple follow-ups just to get a basic update. it was frustrating and not really what I expected.

"Alarm is just too loud, and nobody seems to own the issue"
I really wanted the MedaCube to work for my dad, but the alarm is way too loud. Even turned down as low as it goes, it still blasts through the house and startles everyone. Instead of being a helpful reminder, it ended up making him anxious every time it went off.
I understand the point is to make sure the medication reminder gets noticed, but this feels like overkill. We tried to get some guidance, but it felt like nobody really took ownership of the problem or had a real solution. A softer setting or better volume control would make a huge difference. We eventually stopped using it because the sound was just too stressful.

"The subscription is really too expensive"
I didn’t really think the subscription would feel that pricey over time, but it adds up. For me, it just feels like another monthly bill I don’t really need, so it’s not worth it.

"Heads up: the app is frustrating on mobile"
Just a warning for anyone planning to use this app on their phone—it’s been a real pain for me. The buttons keep freezing, and the checkout screen jumps around so much that it makes ordering way harder than it should be.

"Expected better help during an outage"
We had a power outage and I expected medacube to be easier to deal with in that situation. I figured there would be clear instructions or quick support, but the information I found was vague and getting help felt slower than it should have. For something that’s supposed to be reliable when things go wrong, the experience really didn’t match what I was expecting. It was frustrating and left me disappointed.

"Checkout was frustrating, though support tried"
The site kept freezing on me during checkout, which got old fast. Support did respond and seemed nice enough, I guess, but the advice was mostly the usual basic stuff and didn’t actually fix it. I ended up having to retry the whole thing on my phone to get the order through...

"Box arrived smashed and the terms changed too"
My MedaCube order showed up looking like it had been through a lot. The shipping box was crushed on one side, and when I opened it, the product packaging was bent up, dirty, and one of the items had leaked a little.

for what I paid, I expected it to arrive in decent shape. What made it more annoying was that the terms seemed to change after I ordered, which just left a bad taste. Disappointed overall and I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

"Handy for keeping an eye on things"
Overall, it’s been useful for checking in when I’m not home. The remote monitoring works well most of the time, so I don’t want to knock it too much. My only real complaint is that the alerts can be a little slow sometimes, and it’d be nice if they came through faster.

"Slow site and way too many verifications"
The site took forever to load, which was already frustrating, but then I kept getting hit with verification prompts over and over. I just wanted to browse, not prove I’m a real person every few minutes.

"Pretty accurate, but I’m still torn"
I’ve used this brand for a while and usually trust them, so I really wanted to love this. For the most part, the count seems accurate, but every now and then it’s a little off. Not a dealbreaker, but it does make me question sticking with it over trying another option.
